And for this book, I chose a Japanese-style layout, which is hand-sewn. I used a type of paper appropriate for the Japanese style. I chose the essential elements to create the illustrations, and I also chose the same color scheme to create a balance and convey the meaning of the story.



Sonidos de una vida No-Humana, 2025
This artistic-research project explores the human-animal relationship through ethology and sound art. Using my parakeet, Phyrru 🐦, as my subject of study, I have documented his daily behaviors and vocalizations, transforming them into a sound composition. This work seeks to reflect on interspecies interactions and how the everyday sounds of a non-human animal can be integrated into contemporary artistic practices.

Explorando el ser en un mundo cambiante: Más allá de la indentidad 
Write and illustration by me Elizabeth Verstraete, 2025This fanzine explores identity as a dynamic construct influenced by art, culture, and nature. Through an analysis of chimeras, masks, and vibrant colors, we examine how these symbolic elements can challenge and expand our perception of what it means to be human. It includes reflections on films that address this theme, digital illustrations, and a study of Marta Segarra’s book *Humanimales*. In addition, we examine the representation of chimeras in cultures such as African and Japanese, delving into their cultural significance. This publication invites readers to question the boundaries between the human and the animal, and to rethink our connection to the environment.

Fanzine Constelación Gráfica by Collaboration with CCCB, MASANA Y BAU , published on 2024
I had the opportunity to participate in workshops with illustrators who were presenting an exhibition titled "Constellation of Graphics" at the CCCB. At the end of the workshop, the CCCB gave us the chance to create a fanzine with our illustrations, with a limit of 24 illustrations. The theme was inspired by "The Clock" by Christian Marclay. We had to do it for an hour, and in my case, I chose the time between 3 and 4 p.m., and I did an illustration about what I was doing during that same hour.
