Sonidos de una vida No-Humana, 2025
This artistic-research project explores the human-animal relationship through ethology and sound art. Using my parakeet, Phyrru 🐦, as my subject of study, I have documented his daily behaviors and vocalizations, transforming them into a sound composition. This work seeks to reflect on interspecies interactions and how the everyday sounds of a non-human animal can be integrated into contemporary artistic practices.
In this publication, I learned how to make a book using different layout techniques. And for this book, I chose a Japanese-style layout, which is hand-sewn. I used a type of paper appropriate for the Japanese style. I chose the essential elements to create the illustrations, and I also chose the same color scheme to create a balance and convey the meaning of the story.
